Dr. Manoj and his team performed the first cochlear implantation in Kerala 2002. Since then it has become one of India’s most prolific implant centers with 700 more people implanted with more on the waiting list.
A surgical technique designed to improve the voice by altering the cartilages of the larynx 
(the voice box), which houses the vocal folds (the vocal cords) in order to change the position or length of the vocal folds.
